Bachelor's Degree Is Still the Best Path

Earning a bachelor's degree is still the best path to middle-class employment and wages in the United States, and while those with only a high-school diploma can achieve the same status, it will become harder for them to find and secure such jobs, says a new report from the Georgetown University Center on Education and the Workforce.  In addition to discussing why a Bachelor degree is important, the article also dives into the differences between men and women in the job force and how their education can effect their job outlook.

Mu Sigma Rho

Mu Sigma Rho is a National Statistics Honor Society whose purpose is the promotion of scholarly activity in statistics and the recognition of worth-while achievement among the staff and students in eligible academic and non-academic institutions.  Locally, Mu Sigma Rho sponsors seminars, social events, and local service.  Students are invited to be members of this organization based on their academic standing in the department.
